What is Extra Throttle House?
The 2020 Car of the Year is the second video to be released on the new channel Extra Throttle House. This outlet allows the guys to put out some great content that is an aside to the main channel. A great deal of different videos with smaller production value are already planned for the future. You might see POV drives one minute and never-before-seen hot laps the next.
The goal is to produce fun and engaging content in an even more freeform manner than the main channel. This could be something as simple as silly outtakes or behind the scenes bloopers. Today, Thomas and James mull over their favourite cars of 2020 and select a car of the year. So grab your popcorn and kick back as the guys take you on a visual podcast of sorts.
The 2020 Car of the Year
The 2020 Car of the Year is a hard choice to make. There are so many fantastic options to choose from. Such as the brand new mid-engine C8 Corvette, the BMW M2 CS, the Porsche 718 GT4, and the Mustang GT500. Each runner up brings something special to the table. But to be named the Throttle House Car of the Year it has to go a bit beyond special – as there is some tight competition. The guys start off by defining what the parameters are for their choice. Then they dive right in to talking about the most memorable cars they reviewed this year and how they left their mark.
As James mentions, all of the runner ups are fantastic cars which made choosing an overall ‘victor’ difficult. But make no mistake that 2020 was a pretty fantastic year for new car releases. With some incredible new cars on the market, which do you think will capture the guys’ heart the most? Will it be a Porsche? A Chevy? A BMW? Only one way to find out – watch and enjoy!
