The 2021 Audi RS6
All eyes are on the stunning new Audi RS6. It’s a long awaited competitor to the brutal tire-killing Mercedes wagon, the E 63 S. Thomas and James are interested in seeing just what this new Audi is capable of and how it stacks up against its rival from Mercedes. The guys put these two super-wagons through the paces on both the road and track. This includes a drag and a roll race. If the RS6 has some trouble on the quarter-mile, James has a trick up his sleeve that he hopes will guarantee him a rematch victory. Which of these two family haulin’, tire-munchin’, comfortable crusin’ super wagons will come out on top? Watch and find out!
Drag Race. Track Test. Drift Mode?
The E 63 S has a fantastic feature – drift mode. This means that it can decouple the front axle and become completely rear wheel drive. With drift mode active, Thomas shows us what the AMG can do. Spoiler alert – it drifts. A lot. The Audi RS6 on the other hand, does not have drift mode and is less willing to slide around. James takes a look as to why.
With these German super wagons showing off their impressive capabilities on both the road and the track, only one question remains. Which would you choose? The stylish and new 2021 Audi RS6? Or the drift mode capable AMG E 63 S? It is a difficult question – and both Thomas and James struggle to choose themselves. What would you rather take home?
