2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Review

1280 720 Throttle House

The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat – the 710 Horsepower SUV King

The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is a big dumb SUV with a ton of power – and we applaud it for that. Unlike so many other performance SUVs currently on the market, Dodge seems to have targeted fun over all else. Instead of an overly stiff ride and serious demeanor, the Durango turns up the stupid and gives you an incredible amount of smiles per minute. Thomas and James put this new performance SUV under the microscope. Do you think it is worth the $115,000 CAD price tag? Leave us a comment with your thoughts!

Hold on, it Does 0-60 How Fast?!

If you’re Thomas and James and you have a Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat for the week, you gotta take it to the track. So that’s just what they did. James starts off with a blistering display of acceleration in a quarter mile test on the Throttle House Drag Strip. Afterwards Thomas takes it around the track to see how capable it is at handling its own mass. During the quarter mile test, James was able to achieve a pretty remarkable time for his 0-60 mph run – 3.3 seconds. That is in large part due to its aggressive launch control system. It allows the Durango SRT Hellcat to sprint off the line faster than even a Lamborghini Urus. We hope you enjoy the episode!
