The 2021 Lexus RC F Track Edition
The 2021 Lexus RC F Track Edition would have you think it is purpose built for setting fast lap times. The naturally aspirated V8, carbon fibre weight reduction, and the loss of creature comforts lend to this thought. However, Thomas and James spend some time in this new track edition Lexus – on the track. Will it be able to show them performance that makes up for its staggering price tag? And how does it stand up against its more reasonably priced competition? There is only one way to know for sure, and that is with a track test! Thomas hopes that it will be able to smoothly handle 10/10ths driving and remain its composure – a key part to becoming a fast track car. How do you think it will fare?
We hope you enjoy the episode! Enjoy!
The Wrong Way to Spend $100,000
There are a lot of fantastic choices within the 2 seater V8 category – and even more so if you include six cylinders as well. For the $100,000 that you spend on a 2021 Lexus RCF Track Edition, you should hope to see some serious, track-focused performance. Especially when you consider the luxury comforts that you lose by optioning this edition, like the heated and cooled seats. After all, that 100 grand (or less) could have been spent on a number of different cars that provide fantastic thrills. Such as a Mustang GT350 R, an M2 Comp, or even an LC500 from Lexus themselves.
